The orginal ones by the way didn't exist in the derictory, I mentioned. But for some reson when I start the game the maps are not shown there, only the original ones. Im having trouble getting the maps to show up in the Tiberian Sun Client. If you have a copy of the game (and shame on you if you don't since Red Alert is now officially freeware), you should have a link to the map editor in your Windows Start Menu (Start Programs Red Alert). 0.12.11 Update: Factory Expansion added Key Tool Quest Tool. If you want very simple Maps use the Map Generator from here: But there can be some Maps with an different Game Mode type like Tower Defense, preconfigurated Units and Structures at some specific start Positions and other Stuff. It is a bit work to try all out but if you want good Maps you find them there. Only put some Maps in the Folder and if you dont like them delete them and Put new in. Important: Dont put all Maps at once in the Folder, because the Game cannot handle this ammount of New Maps and will crash. Did you place them in the maps folder It should be found in appdata and red alert 3 just like the mods folder, if it does not exist make one.

Now Put the map witch you want with the Folder, (not only the Files) into the Maps folder. Search for your Game Folder and open it, there should be an Folder named Maps. When you want too use custom maps (Red Alert 3 or Red Alert 3 Uprising) type "Windows+R"Īnd type then "%appdata%".
